I've raised pet chickens organically for 10 years, pet lionhead bunnies and just last spring I hatched my first ducks.  They are all family and we pamper them and give them the love they deserve!!   Last month we were blessed with our new Puppy Lilly, a King Charles Cavalier~ She has stolen our hearts!!!

Phew~~  The last 6 months have been a whirlwind!  It starts in July with the rush of wholesale "fall orders", everything pumpkin scented, putka pods, crows and corn cobs get made and shipped all across the country.  Then in the months that follow it's an even madder dash with the wholesale holiday orders and time sensitive Open Houses that need to be met!  All awhile my loyal retail customers are keeping me busy with personal orders and custom gift boxes shipped to their loved ones~ I enjoy the feelings of accomplishment but I have to admit.......once January arrives, I take advantage of it! ...

Bracing for a New England Winter Storm

12 - 30 inches of snow is coming says the forecast!   One of the important reasons for working from home is that I can take care of my family, animals and home and not miss a day of work!  Firewood loaded in the house and cellar this year (4 wood stoves to tend) Chicken run has been shrunken to the winter size, fish pond and duck pool have been emptied and winterized.  Now it's time to bring the bunny tractor into the big barn (one of my least favorite chores since its sooo heavy) Everything gets accomplished in between office...
