Blog — gourds

We have too many critters (large & small) here in the hill towns to keep the gourds outside on the vine to dry.  I harvest them in the fall,  line them up on the shelves of the greenhouse and they go through the transformation over the winter and into spring.  I should have some nice large gourds available to sell by the summer~
